In this link to New's Corps latest earnings conference call transcript, the owner of Fox news admits near the bottom of this page, "we have never been a company that tolerates facts." Murdoch also admitted the company lost over $6 billion last quarter.

    so, what else is new?
back in 1975, murdoch bought one of the two local newspapers (express-news) here in san antonio, texas. that, was his first move in to the north america media marketplace.

i went to a meeting to hear this guys sale pitch. i was only 19 years old at the time; even though i was still 'green behind the ears' at that time, i just perceived this guy was one hell of big time bad news, right up there with richard nixion at that time!

here we are, almost 35 years later, and sometimes i just hate myself so much for being right!
to make a long story short; the express-news turned into shit.
the light (the second major newspaper we had here) got a few new subscribers.
of the two major newspapers we had here, i always thought the light was the better of the two; the light looked one hell of a whole lot better after murdoch took over the express-news!
well, the years passed and murdoch's power exploded across north america (and the world!)
he finally got controlling intrest in the light, and shut it down.
now, in san antonio, all we got for a major daily newspaper is that pile shit called the express-news.
thank you murdoch, for giving san antonio a pile of stinking bullshit for a newspaper and fuck you too!
