I am in no illusion about the general approval status of lsd.

And please, don't give me that bullshit about acid finding you. If I had to wait for acid to find me I still would not have done it, and my life would not have changed.

And neither would my friend, who did it because I sat down and talked with him about it.

I dont beleive that lsd will magically 'come to you". While it may enable you to reach new levels of being, it is simply a chemical catalyst.

what some consider "sacred" and to be handled with utmost [spiritual] care, was likely made in bulk by a chemist who isnt going to pray/chant/bless as he synthesizes the material.

I'm all for clearing up misconceptions, rumors and ignorance but "talking into" should really be avoided. Perhaps you just incorrectly worded your thoughts, but that phrase generally has negative connotations, making the action sound forced.
