John Kerry was a Rock and Roller!

It's true! In 1961 his hand even recorded an album... and, you know, it don't sound half had for 1961... three years before the Beatles...

The name of the band was the Electras... Their primary influences would appear to be Freddie King and, to a lesser extent, the Ventures...

For what it was, I think their stuff holds up pretty well--it's still fun to listen to...

The band will be having a reunion in Washington DC in January 2005... If Kerry wins, that's gonna be some party!!

The album has been released on CD, so anybody can buy it, and the Electras even have a website, complete with soundclips..
