Do you hug trees while being naked or hug trees that are naked?

yeah i dont know much about plants but i know most trees will die if you strip their bark

but maybe that kind does not?

because otherwise, it doesnt make sense why they would go to the effort of stripping the bark without first felling the tree. if you're going to kill the tree anyway, it would be so much more useful to get the bark AND the wood rather than just the bark.

i may be making this up, but i think in the past or in certain places they used to take the bark off trees to kill them and make them easier to knock down.

i have no idea where i heard that or how valid it is though...

it's like skinning something alive. not the always the more practical approach, but certainly the more entertaining..

Yeah, it is cork- it doesn't kill the tree to harvest it :)
