line up looks good so far. phish, animal collective, nine inch nails, mars volta, mgmt, wilco, moe, govt mules, andrew byrd. and more to come? fuck man, im excited. im praying that modest mouse and radiohead go and i will be dying. anyone else going? also a question for people who have gone before, i plan on staying at the campgrounds for the weekend and dont plan on leaving till the end of the festival. when i go in, will they search my car or have any dogs sniffing it or anything? would just like to know for a heads up ya know?
yeah, looks to be the one of the better bonnaroo lineups since the first one...you have rothbury and phish to thank for that and i hate bonnaroo, so coming from me thats sayin something.... dont miss toubab krewe, and a few others (galactic, bela fleck, kaki king, femi kuti, and david byrne )....those are some pretty sweet bands to be playing the roo.....better than from years past for damn sure....plus, the late night phish will be what every phish/jam fan has been dreaming of for the past few years... phish alone will bring the jam scene...and they have some good world beat jam stuff (toubab and femi kuti, son of the world famous fela kuti, sort of the bob marley of afrobeat like bob was to reggae...)....the bands i have mentioned are not to be missed, regardless of whos plaiyng the same time slot as them... and dont worry about entering the fest...just dont act like a fool, and dont ask to be hassled..
well, got my tickets to it! damn now i jsut gotta wait......this will make my senior year go by even slower...
Ha. I'm too lazy to look. I'm pathetic. Where's Bonaroo even held at. It's not in America is it? Cause I'd really like to go, but 1) I probably can't afford tickets, and 2) My parents aren't going to let me go to some big festival, especially when there are people like Mr. Morrison who have to worry about dogs
Well yes, its in Machester, Tennessee...you can always tell your mom that you are going to one of your friends' farm for a weekend...or "to the lake" (if the festival has a lake lol) that way you arent really lying to her....just framing your words so it sounds better And then pack your camping gear when parents arent home, stash with friend, then your good to go man... It will be a great time for anyone who has never been to a fest before, and also afun for festy veterans alike...
