Dreadlocked dating?

dating for me is the process of going from being single to a relationship. How do you do from single to a relationship without dating first to get to know the person and to see if it could work? I think when people are always dating they either don't want any commitment or haven't found anyone to commit to. Dating can really but can also be a lot of fun if you find the right person.

 

A friend of mine decided that every night for one week she was going to go out on the town and have a fantastic time and get at least one guy's phone number every night!
And SHE DID!

None of them panned out to be the love of her life, but she had a great time, some great dates, some great sex and made some lasting friendships.

I think she had a great attitude towards putting yourself out there are just being yourself, being open to others and not caring if it doesn't work out, I think we forget that the person you meet and connect with today doesn't have to be the ONE, you don't have to be perfect or apologetic for who you are. Which I think might be a inherent trait in us Brits!

BTW! I'm coming back to the UK in June - Scotland actually, not that far from Peterbourgh if you want to grab a beer! Ha ha ha.....

yeah and come out the the USA, i mean i went to the UK for a month the summer of my graduation and i was the center of attention everywhere, it was so much fun, people constantly asking me to say different things and asking me what its like and stuff like that, i even had a couple of girls say "i wish i had an american boyfriend" my girlfriend at the time, who was british, and being the bitch she was went on to say, "you can take him"

Hey Phil have you tried meeting dready girls at festivals or anything? Maybe your just in the wrong environment to meet good girls. I dunno, just a suggestion.

 

eh it was interesting at first, we started dating after we met, we had been friends for 2 years and she came to my graduation from high school and then we dated, and then i went to england and it went to shit

I've only had a couple of releationships.. I don't meet new people very often, and when I do its rarely people I 'fancy'. I think I need to play the field a bit more. Meh.. I think this current guy could be for life, or at least a friend for life anways. Meh I dunno... Edit: I don't really know how to meet new people, I'm not really good with people in general unless I know I like them and can get along with them and am comfy with them... But yea, basically I also have trouble meeting 'potentials', and I guess another reason for that is, if they aren't 'the one' then whats the point *Sigh*

I was actually planning a trip to the US of A, in the summer, going to LA with a friend, but its off now as she fell out with me

I do still want to make the trip eventually tho, virginia sounds cool , we shall see if I can draw a crowd like you did over here hax lol

 

I've been to a few music festivals but that was 2003, maybe its time to go again this year
