    I've been told in the newbie thread that they're all right. They started with long hair and were back-combed. I figured I would make my own thread to get more feedback, hope no one minds.

    They're looking pretty good! Better then mine and mine are at 4 months!
    The only thing is that you might want to take out the bands before they get nommed into your hair for forever. Or worse, melt into your hair.

    Looks like a good start to me. Like bolderthing says though, take the bands out, they'll only cause you trouble later on if you keep them in.

    like I said before,they look good except for the fucking bands!exscuse my language,but honestly bands just look stupid and will do no good!!!

    Thanks! I'll remove the rubber bands. I had a few on top that basically disintegrated and got mushy and sticky so I know where you guys are coming from. Has anybody had any experience with beads?

    Beads rock.....been using them to make my lil ones fatter.....seems the thinner dreads are taking longer than the fatter ones...go figure

    only thing i ever put in mine was a few beads and a couple hair wraps
    u canht go wrong with beads
