i dont want my best friend to date my boyfriend's friend

i dont know why, but i hate the idea of it. i want her to be happy, but i dont want her dating my guy's friends.

Why not? then you can hang out with your best friend and your boy friend at the same time without her being a third wheel.

 

it just makes me uncomfortable. and i know her, she'll want to double date and think its just the cutest thing. i'm 22 man, double dating is lame. going out in groups is ok.. doubling.. not so much.
also, she generally goes for guys that arent really that into her.. and well.. i'm getting the idea she's pushing for this WAY more than the guy is. oy vey

 

Im sure when you get to 80 chewing will seem lame, doesnt mean it is, whats wrong with double dating? anyway given what you said, just let her do her own thing and you do yours, this 'problem' will go away.

Double dating can lead to triple dating and alike.

Notice how most restaurants have 4 chair tables???? Why is that?

I can think of a few reasons not to double date. Lets say you tell ur best friend something you dont want your boyfriend to know, she turns around and tells her boyfriend who turns around and tells your boyfriend. Worlds collide, the way you behave with your best friend is tottally different then how you behave when your with your man, if you guys are all hanging out theres a conflict of interests. If experienced things like that it sucked donkey ball sack.

 

hmmm.... i wouldn't want my best friend to date my boyfriend's friend either... for one... i want my own life. and for 2 when one of us breaks up it puts the other in an awkward position... with the friend saying has he said anything to him or you or blah... ya i don't mind double dating... it's fun actually. but i would tell her if she dates him.. i'll rip her hair out and knit her a hat with it...

lol looks like i struck a nerve with mr. double dater. its called an opinion.. and my opinion is that double dating is lame, and i dont really care if you think i'm lame.. cause i know i'm kick-ass i'm not in highschool, i'm a woman, and i dont need to have my best friend with me at all times.
she went out with him saturday and they met us at the bar afterwards where some jam bands were playing. he texted some other chick the entire evening. boy what a fun double date!!! not. he'll be outta the picture before i send this post. problem solved
