I pay $475 a month where I live, about 1/8 of a mile from the shores of Lake Ontario in the suburbs of Rochester.
how big is your space pressed rat? I will be paying 450 for a small room. Or i could be paying just utilities for a slightly bigger room, at a location i dont wanna live in.
If you're just renting a room, I paid $320/mo for my room, house with kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, parking, heat, hot water, electricity, digital cable, and high speed internet in Victoria. $450 is a lot for a room in my book.
It's a dinky cottage house... it's nice but very small. There is a living room, a dinky kitchen, a dinky bathroom w/shower, one bedroom, and an attic/storage area. It's about 350 square feet. I like it because it's quaint and cozy.
450 is really cheap for where i live, normally rooms here cost 700-800 My room includes utilities, I am just not sure wether i should live where i dont want to live and it be cheap, or live where i wanna live and pay. I am saving money for traveling right now too.
As soon as my Birthday rolls around and I get hired I'll be paying about $250-$300, but thats to my mom lol.
I looked up Santa Cruz on Craigslist. Looks like they're between 400 and 800 for just a room in a shared house. Hmm. Do you work? How come you're stressed about rent?
I live in a 2 bedroom, rundown wooden house in Ubon Ratchathani in the NE of Thailand. My school pays about $100 a month including utilities and internet.
you're killing me red. i live in austin, texas. i live in an apartment that is slightly under 1000 sq ft, 2 bed 2 bath. it is spacious and has a balcony and walk-in closets. it is $1000/mo not including utilities, cable, or internet. i fucking hate it. it was fine when it was my boyfriend, myself, and a roommate, but now it is ridiculous. PR's dinky cottage sounds extremely appealing to me right now. austin is an amazing city, thought. but yeah, we are moving out and traveling for a couple of months (car camping and couch surfing).
Rents around here are ridicilous. A one bedroom flat would be somewhere around £350-£400 a month. Last time I lived in a rented property we paid £1200 for a four bedroom flat, came with mold and mice and mushrooms and everything. My fiance and I are moving soon, and we'll be renting out the flat we're living in now as my fiance owns it. It's a three bedroom flat and the estimate rent is around £1200 as well.
Yeah! Now that is what it's all about. I have vague memories of a one bedroom shithole in outer London that cost me about 750 pounds sterling, 5 or more years ago. Big cities can keep their stinking prices.
Rent is sky high everywhere these days, meanwhile the value of property continues to fall. Here's hoping one day the meek inherit the earth. Property is theft. Do something for the world today, kill your landlord.
fuck. that's insane... and i thought i had it bad. it will definitely be much cheaper doing the road thing. my car gets awesome mileage and i can totally live off of beans, corn and quinoa.....
We pay 950 for a 3 bedroom, two bathroom house in a nice neighborhood. We live in rural Nevada though.
I do work but im saving money to travel for 5-8 months. I have an oppurtunity to live somewhere for just utilities so i am deciding between living soewhere i want and paying 450 or living somewhere i dont to pay about 50.
I pay 850 for a 3 bedroom, pretty spacey kitchen, dining and living room. fenced yard, and outside laundry room. 5 minutes from downtown Houston, Tx. The area has a bad rap, but its relatively quiet during the day, but I live across the street from a cantina, so it gets loud weekend nights, which we dont mind much, since we are usually up and partying ourselves anyway. I personally pay 425 for 8 days a month, which is kind of a rip off, but my kids have a home and a yard and that makes it worth it.
