In an effort to save so cash on Q-Day I'm staying at the Amsterdam Bos Camping Chalets. The site seems to be much nicer that Zeeburg, it seems to be a mud pit. I was at Gaasper in 2005 and it was nice but no chalets. They claim to have great cooking and showers. Has anyone camped there? :piggy:

    Hey ive been there !!!
just to tell ya its about 45min by bus and METRO to get there!
and if you thinking of biking its about same time and you got to watch it once you Get pass RAIL station cause you dont wanna go in by the wrong entrence to the BIG park amsterdamesel BOS cause you got BOS 1 and 2! you entre the wrong one youll ended out turning in circles for about 20km!!

they rent bikes at 5euro a day at parking site!!
they got HUT at 10-12.50euro a night and other place to sleep if you dont have a tent they rent sleeping bag for 5euro per stay« but your bettre having one! just to tell ya it aint nicer then Zeeburg your better off at Zeeburg cause 45-1hour to get back is a pain its about 30euros by taxi if your at Zeeburg you can stay in centrum longer at night cause night bus run near and biking is about 20min not even and taking a taxi wont be more then 15euro or you can even walk it!

only good thing about Amsterdamse BOs is the BIG park it a nice place to go have a pic nic of a sunny day or if you like horse back ridding tru the park that got about 100kms of trails AND YOU dont wanna gdo like i did first time biking it in the DARK :( no lights any where! BUT shh! you cant camp free in the park (not the camping site) in BOS park just dont get seen cause fine is about 100-200euros!

ill be there myself for Queeen day 09! :cheers2:

got any question? just ask me!

I'll see you there. I've already book my bunk in one of the huts and plan on getting a bike there or at Fredrick's. They both look like they rent normal bikes not like those at Mikes Bike. :cheers2: :piggy:

    Bos rent bikes for 5euro!
if you coming direcly from airport you can take bus 172 and 199 from airport to BOS camp!
im not a fan of Fredricks if you dont have a credit card theyll ask you to leave your pass port wit them! witch is illegal of them to do that! BOS ask the same but i told the guy i needed my pass port to get in CS and bars so they ask for 50e deposit.
