Im doing an essay right now for english class... Analysing all of the the symbolism in thepartin the book where Simon is being talked to byThe Lord of the flies. I know it has a lot of biblical paralellsbut tonight im having trouble expressing my thoughts properly..

i love that book...well the movie is better in my openion(not the 80's movie)

but i have no clue about anything that has to do with the bible

 

Simon= Jesus and actually the term "Lord of the flies" wen translated to hebrew is Beelzebub which is a pwerful demon in the bible who is oftenthoughttobe satan himself..theres actually alot of stuff I canuse..I thinkthats half my problem.

it is..but the way it taunts simon and talks and what it represents in thebook (evil i ones self) is also used to refer to satanin a biblical sense..Iveread a lot of notes lol
