Yea! to my state of Washington (Supreme Ruler of the Universe). Sounds like we believe in something out of StarTrek. haha And Soulrebel51, you rock!
The constitution was based on christianity, but became very corrupt. There were massive numbers of murder because of it. The idea of a government is a sin in itself. They're trying to play God. It is true that without it we couldn't really survive which is makes things even sadder. Even today the christianity of this country is being tore down. Government and church are to be seperate, no prayer in school, ect. Then these corrupt peices of shit running this country with their greed making false or meaningless claims to keep everyone in the dark and happy. "Bush is against gay marrige, he has my vote." Bush is also responsible for the most exacutions by any governer in any state in the entire history of the USA. True the gay marrige thing is against God, but so is making a law against it because trying to control people, wether they are right or wrong, is a sin. Kerry is no better. What I'm saying is the moral basis of America was flawed to begin with and is getting worse.
"Everybody needs, but noone ever sees how Society keeps spreading the disease" Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime
"Excuse me!! Since when does the US need the United Nations to legitimize its actions, ESPECIALLY when the US is defending itself?" Nobody (including Kerry) has said that we have to ask permission to protect ourselves from an imminent threat. "The United Nations is a collection of pygmys and third-world countries that, at the very least, hate us and want our stuff. Are you aware that Russia, Germany and France received kickbacks from Saddam when he was raping the "oil for food" program just to keep quiet? Where was that i... mpotent organization when Saddam thumbed his nose at their "resolutions"? " This is such an oversimplified, arrogant, asinine, ignorant comment that it is barely worth taking the time to respond. The U.S. was in bed with Saddam for years. "Illegal war? That's the pot calling the kettle black. The UN a corrupt organization which is our enemy, and it has NO SAY WHATSOEVER in what the United States does to protect itself." See above comment regarding defending ourselves. And as far as the "Muslim hate" goes. I do not hate the Muslims. Not all Muslims are terrorists. But thus far, all terrorists we've met since 9/11 have been Muslim. WHERE is the Muslim community? Why do we not hear a clamor of voices denouncing the terrorist atrocities? That, my friends, is called "guilt by association." There have been numerous Muslim organizations and individuals who have condemned terrorist acts. I support President Bush and strengthening of the Patriot Act. If you'd rather see dead terrorists than dead Americans, then you should too. I would rather see more people left alive than dead. Perhaps we should actually fight terrorists, rather than creating more of them with this fiasco in Iraq.
"If you'd rather see dead terrorists than dead Americans" Another example of the corruption of christian morals. Why would you want to see anyone dead? Why is commiting sins against those who commit sins OK?
No offense but I agree with that, these terrorist are out there and out there to kill and I'd rather see the dead then more civilians, be they American, Spanish, Morrocan, Australian, Israeli, ect....
You missed my point, which isn't hard to do. There is nothing wrong with defending yourself, but to see it as the best option isn't good.
I guess it just depends on what kind of a Christian viewpoint you have. I think someone who has a backbone to stand up for marriage and human life, and who's principles don't change to fit the circumstance is more likely to be a Christian. http://www.catholicsagainstkerry.com
He's sending thousneds of troops to fight/die in a war he's admitted can't be won. The war that was based on WMD's that didn't exist. The only thing gained from this war was control over their oil. It seems to me that he's either evil or doesn't have the backbone to admit fault.
haha MoonJava...give a real site,..and read this.. Recent polls suggest Kerry is making some headway. According to the Pew Research Center, white Catholic voters, who have consistently favored Bush over the past month, now lean toward Kerry by 50 to 43 percent (Hispanic Catholics are heavily Democratic). Kerry's pollsters also claim a recent survey shows he is winning among white mainline Protestants, a traditionally Republican group. http://csmonitor.com/2004/1026/p03s01-uspo.html oh and btw..this is christian science monitor..
Noah's Ark-very basicaly a story about a man who lived the way God intended him to among others who did not. God told Noah he(God) was going to wipe out all the evil people. and so on. I think you're trying to compare what Bush is doing now to the story. In the story God say "I will wipe them out.". This is were I guess you think Bush is playing God. Secondley, God sends Noah and his family (the good/ innocent) away to saftey. Bush on the other hand sends his people to do his work for him, which he knows is a task that can only end in death.
Bush is not doing anything different than thousands before him, prostituting the word for his own political gain. He needs his religious dogma to justify every new atrocity he is committing against the Iraqi people.
Attrocities? I'm sorry but I diddn't know overthrowing their dictator who had 300,000 people "dissapear", another 300,000 die from direct war and god knows how many from sanctions was considered an attrocity.
No, it would've made things worse, for some reason these days you can't go to the UN or other heads of state and just say "this guy is a psycho and killing his own people, we need to get rid of him"
I know, but bush really didn;t give a fuck about saddam or his people. If he and his... cult didn't stand to make billions of this war they would have never even thought twice about all the people being killed. that's kind of ironic since Bush is not only sending thousends of sodiers to die for a war he has admitted can't be won, but that when ha was a governer, he was responsible for putting more people to death than any governer in any state ever.
Excellent. I agree. Kerry is no better or no different. Evil is evil, folks. I'm not a conservative or Bush supporter, but you make a great point.
