My period is almost a week late. I have no signs of starting yet...no cramps...just swolen boobs some...oh dear..
Did you know that they have pregnancy tests at the dollar store now? One dolla baby... or no baby whatever you prefer.
Do you think you could be preg? Do you use b.c.? Swollen boobs were my key indicator both times. More so with the second because I knew what to look for. Good luck, Apple.
What were some other signs for you. Cus with my first baby I was jsut really lethargic and somewhat sick feeling at first more tired then anything and at that time I ha no boobs haha so i didn't notice but if I was preg it would be only a month along would my boobs be doing this already?
It could be stress. I've missed cycles due to being too overworked and stressed out..but If you think you could be pregnant, there's no harm in being safe and taking a test just to make sure.
Good luck Applespark... do you have a friend who could be there with you? Sometimes it's nice to have support right there. Let us know what's going on... thinking of you! *big hugs*
Yeah, sore boobs come early. I'm not sure why, though. Umm, lethargic, bloated, no pms pimples, etc. Check your areola(spelling?). Are the little bumps more pronounced than usual? That is a surefire sign. Oh, I also peed all the time, too. How regular is your cycle? I know what you mean about not knowing...It's scary. But, for your health (and sanity) you should really find out for sure. Having been pregnant before, you should know your body pretty well. What does your intuition tell you?
I'm not sure how reliable your cycles are, such as how many days (I menstruate every 28 days) but for me, being even a day late would indicate pregnancy. I've been pregnant 4 times (I had two misscarriages, but I have 3 children due to my last pregnancy being twins) and I always had my breasts swell and become extremely sensitive, my "womanly parts" would look a purplish color, I felt bloated, I would have cramp-like feelings in lower abdomen, I had to urinate constantly, my appetite seemed to increase, and I was overwhelmingly tired. I also just "had a feeling" every time I was pregnant, just a natural intuition. I would think that you would feel better to find out for sure. Worrying will only cause you more stress, and might even delay your period. Just go out and get a HPT, (home pregnancy test) see what the results are for your peace of mind and go from there. Good luck to you and keep us updated. {{{HUGS}}}
Oh, and yes, your breasts can definitely swell early into a pregnancy, so that would not be unusual. They grow increasingly larger the further along you are. I had 34F ones by the end of my first full pregnancy, and when I was breastfeeding! Yikes! I wish I still had those! lol Surprisingly, when I had my twins, they didn't seem to get as big. I'm not sure how your body is, but when I'm getting close to menstruating, my breasts swell then. Maybe you're just running a little behind schedule? I hope everything is okay...
I hope you get the answer you want, Apple. My boobs get sore BEFORE I even miss my period. I usually sleep in a bra for the first few months of pregnancy. Blessings, I hope everything is OK. Maggie
I'm not sure if that's a good sigh or a bad sigh, but at least that's definitely a good sign you're not pregnant. However, and not to sink your boat here but, I did have a light period one month into my second pregnancy, and it was two days later than usual. I didn't figure out I was pregnant until well into my third month after I started morning sickness. So I still promote that pregnancy test, whether at the doctor's or the dollar store, if this period isn't normal for you. Becca
I am glad of corse having a bab i would deal but sheesh I really am fine with just one right now. I just gotta be careful. Birth control really messes with me so I can't be on it. Sorry to make yall worry with me hehe.
I hate the fact that most forms of birthcontrol are not good for us at all!! Good luck..ohh i used an iud and it worked for me for three years pretty well, but then it made me really really sick. So just be careful what you choose to use!
Sore breasts, especially in a distinct spot, can also mean you have a cyst. Now DON'T PANIC lol everytime people hear "cyst" they think cancer... these things don't usually mean cancer. A lot of womyn, especially womyn with larger breasts, have "lumpy" breasts (under the skin i mean, you can feel them) sometimes these "lumpy" things come together and form cysts, which can be painful. Just a thought. And don't forget... the more you stress about "when is my period going to come" the longer it will take to arrive!
get a test but cramps that don't feel as strong as your normal cramps and are more centered on one side is a good indicator
