Best strain

ok lets hear it.... whats your most favorite strain?..............me lol i have no idea all the ounces of shrroms ive brought the dealers had no clue what strain they were. the only shroom i know i ate was the gulf coast strain and that because i grew them and they were shitty lol.

 

Hawaiians are the best mainstream shrooms.... that most ppl have heard of.

The best strain that I've ever tried.... which dominated any hawaiian I've had, was called "blue psilocybe".

 

Thai Pink Buffalo,one of the few cubes thats very potent

ive had those, B+, Golden Teachers, and Ecuadors.

i've been getting immensly potent shrooms lately. Just last night i ate only 2 grams and the trip was extremely intense...and this is coming from a person whose done shrooms a good 100+ times as well as acid. The guy i get them from has had them every day for years but doesn't know what strain they are either.

yeah ive had several varieties i know ive had some cubenis a couple times. idk about the rest though just like generic SW US shroomz of varying potency. before this summer i had only done shrooms twice in my life and they werent that potent. since jund ive tripped approx 8 or 9 times an some goood stuff.

 

:cheers2:I just had one flush of b+ it was pretty good , I chopped them up and put them in to two huge cases and they are growin non stop. today i inoculated 24 half pint jars with the hawaiian spores i cant wait to see how they are!!!!!!

 

for the most part, cubes are cubes, and "strains" are usually bullshit beyond differences in growth patterns.

Yeah. Biggest difference would be genetics of shrooms and all that, that is mainly what decides potency/size and all that.

potency is almost exclusively determined by the quality of the substrate. BRF/verm will always produce weaker mushrooms than will dung-based substrates, for instance. there are a few strains allegedly notable for potency, but i've never noticed differences from strain to strain, and i've tried a few.

biggest difference is how it grows and/or aesthetics - for instance, penis envy growing with substantially small caps, orissa india growing larger than average mushrooms, some colonizing faster or slower than others, albino varieties, and so on.

 

strains for shrooms is nothing like strains for weed (it would be cool if each strain had a different trip though) the biggest difference between yeild and potency will come from your growing medium and climate.

 

Yeah, substrate does have an effect on the potency, but people have grown potent mushies on BRF/Verm. Genetics especially come into play while working with Multi-Spore though, the millions of different spores will have many different genetic make-ups, which is why cloning a mushroom will often produce a more equal pinset/same height mushrooms etc.

Not trying to be disrespectful here, you're definitely the more experienced one of the two of us, just trying to say that growing on dung-based substrates and such will not always produce super-potent mushies. :cheers2:

 

certainly not, but my point was merely that nutrition has far more to do with the potency than so-called "strains," which are incredibly variable in general. this is simply a generalization, and certainly i have had some mushrooms more potent than others (all of my homegrowns have been on pf cakes) but the most reliable differences are in terms of growth patterns and aesthetics, and while there are differences in potency there is no -reliable- difference in potency based on strains alone, in most cases. there are, of course, an extremely limited number of strains reputed to have more potent properties, such as puerto ricans, but most are equal in general, and far more reliant on available nutriants.

One thing I had to add was if you are buying spores, never pay super high amounts for "super potent/rare strains brought back from years ago".
I have seen spore syringes for as high as 90$. Like stated, with msot strains, strain names mean little.

 

indeed. i would never pay more than 20 dollars for a syringe of cubensis spore solution at most, regardless of strain.

 

azurenscens, or at least thats what I've been told they are. Quite potent, 1g is comparable to about 3g of cubes i'd say.

what about size ?? im usin strait verm casing, avarage size is a bic lighter temp is 75, hum is at 95. any sugestions on how to get larger shrooms would be appriciated:cheers2:
