my dreads are 2 weeks old tdy and when i wash them i wash wit a stocking on my head and i rub bar soap onto the stocking i was wondering if i shld put the sea salt wash into jst my hair or jst wash it on top of the stocking? thanks,peace and jah bless
ha:stocking! I don't believe in washing them through a stocking, how did you do em?and you spray the seasalt on the whole head to tighten up the locks.leave the scalp though as it can dry it out a lil.but swimming in the sea is a lot better!and more fun
I would advise not wearing a stocking if your doing the salt wash Otherwise it won't benefit your locks to the full extent
yea it deff looks funny but sum ppls have suggested it to b cuz my dreads are only 2 weeks old and told me that it would help em stay tghter
do whatever you feel is right...just don't over do it. one sea salt soak wont noticeably hinder or help your baby dreads. Rastafari
Mine are two weeks old and I don't wash with a stocking on my head. I don't seem to have a problem with them loosening, one at the front pretty much fell out the first time I washed, but that was kinda expected. Give it a try, I just rub my scalp through the knots at the top and kind of squeeze the dreaded hair..
