You weren't there. He was mean. Meaner than I've ever seen him. It was frightening and disproportionate to the situation. I don't treat people that way- no, not even when I have PMS. That might be hard for you to fathom if you've known nothing but meanness all your life, but where I come from, friends don't treat each other that way. Certainly not over a GAME... you know, like Tag? Priorities. Human respect. Nobody cares anymore...
Cuz being like that sucks. And I highly doubt that you aren't like that. All girls get like that. Liar. I don't see a problem in the way he was acting. He got mad and took it out on you two. You never do that to anyone? EVER?!? Bs.
Video games can be amazingly cool.Phenomeonally so infact. But why strive for achievement all day and night in a video game when there's another game called life to play?
Not true, I just get cynical and I'm british - that's normal! I know girls who get it really bad but I know some who get it fine. No pms.
So, because it happens means it's okay? Of course I slip up from time to time, but not to that degree. Don't you understand? There's a line, and he crossed it. Don't you have any boundaries? Or is EVERYTHING fair game when you're in videogameland?
ive got a friend like that but i dont take his shit seriously...its just a game and those feelings are directed to the game and nothing else. that being said sometimes when i play online i can get pretty annoyed when something doesnt go my way
I think the point that he was trying to make is the fact that he was playing a video game is irrelevant he could have been doing anything he really liked and something/someone could have set him off. He could have been pissed while he was knitting a sweater or churning ice cream and still have taken his anger out on you, doesn't mean that he was right for doing so but everyone fucks up at some point. Cut'em a break, he should apologize but c'mon cut'em some slank.
I get what you guys are saying, but it's hard not to let any of it get to me. I just believe that there are just some things you don't say to people you're close to. He has apologized. I accepted. I'm trying to tell myself it wasn't personal. I know it wasn't, but it's still kind of a raw nerve, I guess. Yes. I prefer Donatello. A computer nerd like myself.
video games are like little mental stress tests, to see how people handle tough situations. the cooler people will know to laugh at the problems and keep their friends close while they're shooting at them.
My boys get like that when playing video games. Well, they don't swear, but they get vicious, screaming and flipping out, fighting like crazy. I really hate video games. There's only so much I can take before I make the boys give me their controllers and turn the stupid system off.
