But I'm afraid to write it. Its a great idea, and I feel I can write a lot of pages for it. The problem is that its very intimate and I convey a lot of my own personal thoughts in it. Very weird, strange opinions that you should keep to yourself. Should I still write it, knowing that someone is going to read it for a class? I can't think of any other ideas, and it will be due pretty soon.

I know I'm being vague, but I don't like revealing lots of information. ;)

Write it. People have no proof that you actually feel that way.

ah well, there's no way for a writer to avoid revealing themselves in their writing. a good writer is courageous. they put themselves on the line. they put their psyche on display no matter how strange or controversal are their writings. i do understand your hesitation though. i wrote a rather perverse story, a story so strange and charged with twisted sexuality that i myself wondered from what dark creepy crack in my subconscious did this story bubble. i self published it in a book with some other short stories anyway. as it turns out it was one of the more popular stories in my little book.

Truth. I've struggled with the same thing as I tend to be a very private person. That's why I write fiction though and not memoirs or blogs. No one will ever really know the true extent of your thoughts and experiences when you convey it through fictional characters.
