My XBOX is a pos!

Well why change something when it already works really well? That's silly.

 

Yeahhh, XP is still my favorite, pretty much perfect. Vista was just a hole in the fucking pocket ha.

 

Windows 7 is an open beta right now.


I was calling Windows 7 pretty much Vista 2.0, meaning its pretty much the same thing as Vista, but build on a better kernel, more stable, will be better optimized for newer hardware ,and will have better programs shipped with it.

According to microsoft Windows 7 is just an upgrade from Vista and all programs and drivers that are working on Vista will on Win7.

But Service Pack 2 for Vista is coming out this month I believe and I think it will clear up alot of problems, not that i'm actually having many on Vista as it is now.


They started development right after Vista's release, with 3-4 development plan. I don't think its too soon at all. Considering it was only a year between Windows ME and XP, and noone was complaining to get rid of that shit. I hope I'll be able to use the ME to XP example alot with this....

 

Hm, is it true they're going to quit making programs compatible with vista? I heard that but thought it might be a rumor..

 

doubt it, considering they just announced they were gonna keep XP support alive..

windows 7 though is gonna be the shit, im not upgrading from XP until i get the live version of 7

 

I don't see how that would be true since all Vista/Win7 programs should be compatible with each other, unless they're all gonna go back to Win95, xD lol.

If you think they just simply slapped together the 360 years ago and were sitting on it waiting for Sony to release you have no idea how things like this work. They're new GPUs and CPUs coming out like every 6 months, what most likely happened is they confirmed Sonys hardware that would be released, incorporated thier own they thought could compete with it, then in a major rush to beat them to the market, over looked a huge flaw.

 

I get that the 360 was rushed, but vista not so much. If anything I would call it a 6 year disappointing wait seeing as vista sucks. I mean if they were going to take that fucking long to release it, why couldn't they have put together an OS that didn't suck dick.

 

Lol definitely. These days it is a race to see who can sell more shitty products faster than their shitty competition.

 

Vista was never meant to be something great, it was meant as a small increment between XP and Win7. So they pretty much rushed it to the market, milked with for all it was worth with little scams like dx10 only being released for it, and sat back and received the profits while working on Win7, lol.


It's exactly what Win2000-WinME-WinXP was.
