    GMO foods, artificial sweeteners, fluoride (and other drugs/chemicals) in the water, vaccinations, chemtrails, EM pollution... It is happening on so many different fronts.

    The question is;

    Is there any way we can survive this onslaught?

    Eat clean, organic food (grow your own or buy local), avoid junk and processed foods, don't drink tap water, use fluoride-free toothpaste, eat healthy, exercise, use supplements to boost immunity (vitamins C, D, E, B-complex, zinc, folic acid, magnesium, omega 3s, etc.)

    Monosodium glutamate: a neurotoxic flavor enhancer
    MSG kills brain cells and causes a variety of adverse reactions.
    over time it dissolves your organs, how gross is that?

    it in like all fast food and processed food and many other things.

    MSG is neurotoxic, and so are artificial sweeteners like aspartame and sucralose.

    Flouride is severly bad for you, but yet people claim its good for you. I find the whole situation hilarious. First off, if flouride is suppose to be good for your teeth then its benefits would be from topical application (such as in toothpaste) as opposed to us ingesting it, such as we do when we drink it in water. It doesn't make sense to put it in our water then.

    Secondly reports have shown that areas without flouride have better oral health then areas with flouride. I can't remember the exact locations used in this research but I could find it if I have to.

    Thirdly, and most importantly flouride has been shown to be highly damaging to the body. Plain and simple.

    I don't know if this is some kind of government plot to make us sicker. I've read many things. I've read that flouride is a type of industrial waste that is allowed to be dumped into water because of lobbyists paying certain people off. I've also read that its part of a plot to make people sicker. The more people that get sick the more people get treated and medicated, and the more money certain people make...

    Honestly I don't know what to believe. There could be flouride in our water because of corruption, greediness, or just plain ignorance. All I know is that anything is possible, that power corrupts, and money makes the world go round. Mix those together and you get some vile possibilities.

    Do water filters, like a Brita, remove fluoride from tap water? Because that's pretty much all I drink and I don't want to die

    No, a Brita filter will not remove fluoride. However, a reverse osmosis filter will remove everything, leaving nothing but pure water.

    For the MSG thing, i've gotta sorta look to the Asian peoples, who seem to live long, happy lives, and believe me when i tell you, EVERYTHING they eat contains MSG... Just saying :eek:

    I don't think its in everything...although I believe MSG was developed in China. They most likely live longer then us because they are not exposed to the western hemispheres toxic lifestyle. Plus MSG is only one toxin in a sea of toxins.

    China still uses lead-based paints, and their children live through it.

    Supposedly, our better life-styles include fewer toxins...

    but not if we import their stuff for our use, without testing it, first;

    not if we're willing to settle for their products at their prices;

    and not if we could ever get our act together on this,

    AND STOP POISONING OURSELVES!!!

    But, they live longer because of what else they eat ~ lots of starches, and soups, filling and cheap; and their basic lifestyles ~ they actually walk or bicycle around. For long distances, mass transit ~ they're all pretty much immune to the same things, after, say, 2 hours. ;)

    Well, anyway, part of that healthy eating? Like actually (*gag*) wanting(*sputter), TOFU, (*speeewwwwwwwww! ~ brb) (*ack! *uuurrrppp....... *gag!!!)

    the way to make it taste good (or, for that matter, LIKE something good), is to use Flavor Enhancers, and MSG is about as natural as, say, sweat:

    Besides all of that?

    i like it! ;)

    I think MSG is probably a lot more prevalent in Americanized Asian food.

    Aaaaaaaaa!

    Wrong answer!

    They use it MORE, over there! (i lived in Japan for about 5 years, with my folks taking frequent trips into Hong Kong, and my mom likes to learn AUTHENTIC cooking, wherever she lives, or likes to eat, so... i've got Chinese and Japanese covered, and that should account for the majority of Asians! ;) )

    Anyway, they tone it WAY down for us allergy sufferers.

    Yes, Ajinomoto!

    I refuse to believe anything anyone says about food additives unless there is reputable, scientific backing to any claims of toxicity. As far as I know, there have been no tests to prove that MSG "dissolves your brain." If there have been, and they were conducted by actual scientests, and not New Age practitioners of Ayurveda or some hooha like that, please direct me to an article of some sort.

    Just before xmas I had a convo' with somebody here about flouride.
    It prompted me to write an email to my local water authority.
    They said:

    Fluoride is naturally present in all water supplies at varying levels.
    Fluoride is added in some areas at the request of the relevant Health
    Officials to protect teeth from decay. The decision to add fluoride is
    taken solely by the Health Authorities and not by the Water Company. All questions about fluoridation in general should be addressed to the local
    Health Authority. The value of fluoride in your region is
    approximately .18 mgF/l. I understand fluoride is not added at present to
    the water supplied to the area.

    Each year we take many thousands of samples direct from the customers' taps
    to ensure its quality. Individual results may vary slightly due to natural
    changes in the raw water, and also to changes which occur within the
    domestic plumbing system.

    You may find out the level of fluoride in your water supply by visiting our
    website at www.stwater.co.uk

    Bog standard reply. I think they were trying to tell me it was safe. :rolleyes:
