Dickens fans, GTFIHN brahs

You need to get up into DC if you like Dickens at all Zilla.
I wonder at why so as of yet Im the only one who posted in this thread to even have a passing interest in Dickens, let alone a tremendous appreciation of his writing. I guess his style doesnt sit well with everyone but, then again Im on hipforums.com where Hunter S Thompson is the greatest author and John Lennon the greatest musician. So douche baggery is to be greatly expected.

well, i like hunter and john, too. i don't know about greatest, but they're good. i really loved T2C, but that was the last dickens i read, and that was when i was a junior in HS. i may read DC at some point but now i'm all up in robert anton wilson. have you read him? you would really dig him i think.

i knew he was male, but john just said he's female. that's why i got confused. i'm glad to know now that i am not the one who is learning impaired. or maybe i am, as i seem to have learned that it's ok to trust juan.

 

I think I would've liked Dickens' work much better if he hadn't been paid by how many words he used. Mother fucker would go on and on and on about things that didn't even matter.
