OMG Mamma! Wow...what a rollercoaster youve been on! The day you stopped using wax and started removing the wax, they started looking soooo much better. Your dreads look very happy, healthy, natural, and on the right track now. Your gorgeous!

she was always gorgouse even when a mess monstor
but yea the day u stopped wax it was such a huge improvement
then after dewaxing it just got better and better
but even though it sux to start over (and be ripped off) the original "dreads" if they ever wouldf have dreaded woulda been sooooo thin
after u started over naturaly they really started to form very nicely
and i know ya got a way to go still..but you can now say you finaly have the dreads u always hoped for

and now u have so much to teach too..it sux u went through what u went through, but it may save alotta ppl from making the same mistakes

stay on this path..your doing wondefully

If that's so then the person that did them for mamamojo might have been kind enough to point that out to her. I do kind of see your point about the research thing though.

Very true. That's where ethics come into play. Then again you could also say I'm just a merchant I give people what they ask for it's up to them to determine it's not right for them. You could go either way on that one really.

My momma has them and I love them on her. Will most likely get a set myself later this year.

sisterlocks is well known to be just another salon scam
did your moms actualy dread eventualy?
well its very hard for african hair to not dread so not surprised if it did eventualy
but it is just another salon dread scxam to steal your money
and have u depending on them as long as possible
they drag out the process as much as they can so thgey can charge u over and over for repeart visits
to get dreads makes absiolutely no sence, ..it doesnt for caucasions either except in the most extreme caasses..
but for african hair its so very very easy to just leave it alone a month or so and it will happen, free of charge without gunk
african hair is very hard to keep from dreading
thats why braids cornrows straightening and so on are so popular, they help keep the hair from dreading easily
if u just let it go wild a bit it will dread like crazy

after seeing the mess made of jojo and looking through other threads of salon dreads (ansd specificaly horror stories of sisterdreads specificaly) youd still preffer that over clean and easy effortless and free?

My mom is the kind of a person you probably don't have much interaction with. She has a Master's degree and works in an office. She manages people. Even if she didn't, she's a neat tidy person. I prefer neat dreads. Quit trying to shame me over and go do something productive.

Beautiful warrior, my dear, why are you always so aggro? Ive read other posts of yours
and Im just like DAMN...somebodys having a bad day or something. I dunno. I am not going to comment on the sisterlocks because honestly I do not know enough about them to have an opinion...but attacking eagle, saying he's stupid, dirty, and lazy is just rude. I understand you have a difference of opinion and I know eagle can be pushy with his views...but simma down now! =] Lets just agree to disagree. Anywhooo...just felt like saying something there...even though it was really none of my bussiness....if you chose sisterlocks I wish you the best and I bet theyll be beautiful on you. =]

Sorry to double post but I just looked at the sisterlocks site you posted....those are gorgeous! I wish I had the type of hair that would lock up like that. Theyre so perfect and small! Mine are so carazay and loopy. =]

I didn't call him dirty lazy or rude. I described my mother. Eagle is repeatedly offensive and condescending. I will continue to respond to him in the same fashion he responds to me. If he could agree to disagree and not talk to me like I'm 2 anytime I express my like for neat dreads that'd be great. He's not capable of that though and so it is what it is. I will most likely be locking up after my wedding. Dunno yet.

I like their versatility. I might want them a bit bigger but I'm uncertain. I have my hair in box braids right now so I don't have any idea how long it actually is. When I take them out I'm most likely going to blow dry and flat iron to do a length check.

hmphf sorry if I misunderstood, I thought you were calling him those things because in the opening line you said...My mother is the type of person you probably do not interact with because of blah blah blah...I thought you were insinuating that Eagle is none of those things. But anywho...yeah they seem extremely versatile and fun. Your getting married?! Woohoo! Congrats!
