Another burning man thread

I'm incredibly interested in going to burning man this year. I've always wanted to go but I havent really been ready for it til now. Problem is i need some serious guidance about what to bring..Obviously lots of food water sunblock etc but what else? I know that it is insane and unpredictable so what do you guys who have been suggest? I.E. what is the best food to bring+ other supplies. What are the essentials and what would come in real handy? also is it stupid to fly there?

 

unfortunately, hipforums isnt very good as a resource for burning man plans. (outside of drug preparations/packing )

the eplaya is the central hub of pretty much all burner conversation/planning/random conversation. Expect to be met with a semi-snarky attitude, since some of us didnt eat enough bacon at breakfast.
