Most of my friends can still appreciate music as a solitary activity. I can listen to music by itself before bed, sitting around waiting for class, etc. But I can and usually do listen to it at every point in the day where I'm not reading too. Without my music I'd probably go insane after about a week.

Vessels of the human spirit, we cascade into rivuletes of auditory motion, forever perpetuated by the great spinning record in the sky...

I do drugs to listen to music. I fuckin love it man. Different drugs turn songs into different worlds and they're all interesting

i was thinking...maths is supposed to be the language of the world but its not, its music. Maths cant make you feel emotions, music can no matter where its from or what language its in.

How much music do you have joker?
i have around 4000 on itunes but i dont use that anymore. Altogether i have around the 12,000 song mark.

"Music is definitely a language and if you can speak it and improve your vocabulary your emotions will evolve more than you can ever think."

My music theory teacher told us that. I think he's absolutely right.

I have 21gigs of music that equals about 5,000 songs on my computer, like 160 legit albums, another like 30 burned CDs and about 70-80 vinyls, and because of my computer's shittiness any song I have on an actual CD I won't have on the computer so I can save space.

So yes, I do enjoy music, quite a bit of it.

Also, I listen to music constantly, like no matter what I'm doing, even TV, I mastered the art of listening to music and watching TV at the same time.

I do agree that there is a difference between listening to music and just having music on. Sometimes i'll just put on an album to listen to when I'm cleaning or doing schoolwork, but I dont consider it really listening to music. When I actually listen to music I usually put on headphones, shut off the TV, and get rid of all distractions and just focus on the music.

emotion is not an inherent property of existence. Music and mathematics are both wonderful and amazing things, but when the question of which is more fundamental (in terms of generalities, not to any given individual), the award clearly goes to math IMO

Indeed, I suck at math, but math is the logical basis behind all science
