It sucks, since I'm about to turn 18 I can't go to the doctor, dentist, nothing. I really hope I don't break a leg or something.
I don't know, I just know that I hope my next job pays for it. I know I'm not paying all my money for what ifs.
I've found that I've needed the doctor a lot less since I turned 18 than before I did. But I also still am insured. Waha!
I wish I was insured somehow, I mean I'm a single mom if something happens to me and I can't take care of it that would suck then, I mean they should be trying to make sure I'm atleast healthy enough to take care of my daughter, and give me low cost birth control if I so desire. I'm speaking for any and all single moms out there.
no insurance, epileptic, and if I were being med compliant my seizure drugs would be ~$1000 a month all told. suck it up bitch.
I would LOVE to not have regular dental and doctor appts. I hate the dentist!!! My mom makes me. And dont get me STARTED on physicals. How invasive.
Man--what kind of medicine do you take?! If I had to pay that much for my meds (I'm epileptic too), I think I'd just have my neurologist take me off it! And in response to the topic of this thread, I don't have insurance either--I've had the same suck-ass job for the past 16 years, and do you think I can get insurance where I work? Hell, no! It's enough to make me want to change jobs!
I pay my own insurance but its got a $5000 deductible so it really just covers me if something major happens.
Really all I want is coverage for er visits, dentist and check ups. But I have to get prescription coverage so I can start getting my old friend back.
I have no insurance, never will have. Not even if I move to America. Fuck hospitals and the diseased headcases that inhabit/run them.
That is moronic, even if hospitals aren't perfect I'd rather be getting help instead of dying on my couch with some disease. Or teeth fall out but I can't afford dentures, eyes get worse and no money for glasses.
Really?! My mom hasn't made me do anything since I become indepedent of her...Just saying... Anyways, yeah you would be fucked if you got into any sorts of medical emergency. Perhaps your state has free medical coverage if you don't make X amount of money. You should check into it. Otherwise, there are free clinics and such, but like I said, if it came down to any sort of medical emergency, you would be fucked.
i haven't had insurance since I was 18 i just go to the hospital, and never pay the bill you can all thank ME personally for why healthcare is so expensive You are quite welcome
I don't have insurance either. I have a good job but they don't offer it. We have lots of low cost clinics around here, so it's not so bad.
my wife will actually start getting insurance through her job soon I'm not sure when it starts but when it does, I'm gonna be a much happier mother fucker, I'll have an assortment of fine pills at my disposal
