The second article mentions "US aid" so I just assumed it would be a pledge through USAID. Simply because, is there really another US Agency that delivers $900 million in aid to another country ?

    The IMF and World Bank.

They're not US institutions, but the US pays into them.

It appears the money to Gaza will be provided through the UN and NGOs not specified.

"I think we were perfectly happy to see these books trashing the Soviet Union," said Chris Brown, head of book revision for AID's Central Asia Task Force.

I meant on the decisions made, Camper. Not on someone to make them for us.

^^ Yes, but in that democratic way they are in office making those decisions right now. They were voted in knowing that they had a beef against the Jews and were all for telling terrorists that were are sorry.

No better than Hanoi Jane I say...

^^ ehhh I don't like the policies or the religious beliefs of ppl from Northern California...so I'm just gunna go there and kill them all. One by one...maybe a car bomb while they are in church. I know I'll brainwash young boys and they can strap explosives to themselves and go to school and then threaten the rest of the world that we don't like them either and start taking out anyone who looks, acts, and smells like them.

What should we exactly be saying sorry for?

Thats like writing off every muslim person as a terrorist and a lunatic.

I have met many intelligent muslims.

    They arent all terrorists.

And if Israel hadn't been created in the first place, we wouldnt have this problem...

I didn't say anything about Muslims. I have close friends who are too.

Muslims have been victims too. Take a look at the Bosnian conflict.

The IRA used car bombs in their plight against Catholics and I think the first human bomb was Indian. The Japanese used themselves as well as weapons with their Kamikaze tactics.

My point is that you can't just pick a certain race or religious peoples and start eradicating them and expect the world to kiss your ass.

    Defending themselves...

HAMAS indiscriminately fired over 3000 rockets into Israel in 2008 hoping to kill as many Jews as possible

Israel has probably had about enough. The Palestinian's have embraced Hamas' rule.

    And Hamas was democratically elected.

We "embraced" obamas rule, when he was elected, so why should it be suprising that the Palestinians should embrace Hamas.

At least they arent a puppet for the Israelis.

And, I'm sorry, but killing 1300 palestinians for only 13 Israels is not self-defense.

    Thats murder.

But this is a thread related to Israel and Palestine.

If Israel didn't blow them up, we wouldnt be sending 900 million dollars to rebuild Gaza

Remember... 57 million of us didn't vote for Obama...and he duped the dumb masses into voting for him. With phony campaign promises that none of them understood. All they know is that the messiah has come and is going to pay all their bills for them with big government spending taken from those who work hard and their kids and their grand kids.

I haven't seen the numbers of those who voted for Hamas vs against Hamas, but like those who voted for Obama...those who voted for Hamas are getting thier medicine.

The Taliban is getting thier medicne for 911 and other attacks around the world.

We shouldn't be footing the bill to rebuild anything over there.

Well said. And if the US didn't arm and send money to Israel they wouldn't be so quick to try and exterminate the original landowners. I don't support caged shoots, so why are we sending US taxdollars and arms to Israel.

The Taliban is stronger today than it was before GW declared his famous war on terroism. And Pakistan has received billions in aid from the US, while sheltering them.

And correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't it Saudis that flew those planes.

You want to explain that? Who's dishing out this medicine US voters are receiving? And exactly what is this medicine? I'd like to know.

Are you implying that there is powerful sector that can punish the people of the US for not voting the way they wanted us to? Is that what explains the republican stance...they are punishing us?

I would bet you have some Biblical scripture to back up your position.
