(In your opinion) Led Zeppelin Nirvana Aerosmith Pearl Jam Metallica U2 Radiohead AC/DC Dave Matthews Band The Eagles
i can't stand most of these bands, but i do thoroughly enjoy led zeppelin and a few eagles songs. still overrated, though. i'd say either pearl jam, metallica, or U2, because while the redeeming qualities of most of the list are limited, for these bands they are nonexistant.
well i can tell you the ones that make me mad just reading the name: Pearl Jam, U2, and Dave Mathews Band
For me it's tough. I never liked Nirvana, even in high school when everyone loved them. I did like Pearl Jam, but now I cannot stand them. Whenever I hear Aerosmith I feel like plugging my ears. The Eagles put me to sleep. Led Zeppelin, while great musicians, do nothing for me. Radiohead are perhaps the most pretentious band ever. Metallica is corporate crap. U2 has some great songs, but Bono ruins it for me. Dave Matthews reminds me of the little yuppie honor students I went to high school with. AC/DC annoys the heck out of me.
you seem to always know what i do an do not know better than i do. but i assure you, i'm ignorant of this. what the hell are you talking about? popular music is something of which i often have huge gaps in "common knowledge"
I'm not a Nirvana fan, but I think they're way better than most of the groups on that list. When I first read that list I figured most of the musical retards in this place would pick them. I guess Led Zeppelin don't suck, they're just stupid and boring. Definitely overrated. Radiohead are also overrated but at least they put out good albums. The rest on that list are shite.
i really like radiohead but i'm a pretentious asshole. u2 is ok but yeah, bono is fucking retarded. i can definitely stand aerosmith in certain situations. i like zep, but they are overrated.
vedder is in pearl jam i take it? my knowledge of them consists of wanting to shove sharpened pencils in my ears the few times i've heard songs by them. i've never made it through a whole album, and don't know much about them (that is: know virtually nothing about them)
