Gettin' creative with stems.

I've been saving up my stems for a little bit here, ive only got about 9 g's tho.

I want to make something out of them... The only things ive heard of to do with them are putting them in liquor for a while or grinding them down to kief and making butter...

does grinding stems really give you kief?
What else can i do with these things or am i wasting my time..

 

I have no suggestions but I know it isn't worth it for me to save them up, I saved from around 3.5 ounces and ended up just grinding them and making delicious but no high inducing firecrackers.

 

Depends on stem quality. If the stems are from dank then they still have a good amount of thc in them. I'd put them in a coffee grinder or food processor then make some brownies.

i dunno but i heard its good to get a bunch of stems and freeze 'em and then shake them in a jar or something to get all the trichomes off. that way your not eating or smoking ground stem.

also, i noticed we have the same avatar, and good luck on legalizing marijuana

 

Grinding it up would only get you ground stems.


Like the above poster said, freezing and shaking them would probably be your best bet,

 

or a kief box

 

i really don't want to eat ground up stems so thats out of the question, i'l have to invest in a kief box. maybe...

as far as freezing them, do i freeze them in the jar? or like in a bag and transfer to a jar when frozen and shake? idk

 

It doesnt matter what you freeze them in, you just need to have a screen, to sift the kief from the stems.

oks well here is a simple budder tek, the better the bud the better the budder,
it may look shitty with stems, but its better then nothing right?

make ISO hash with this technique

the product, frozen buds, previously pulled apart to individual nugs (each about marble size), are put into a 4 cup pyrex measuring cup (2/3 full), and frozen iso is poured into it (enough to cover the buds, stirred , and drained immediately into said sieve/filter setup (holding back the bud while letting alcohol drain)

again fill the measuring cup with (fresh) frozen iso over the same batch of buds, this time crunching a little bit of the bud, and again drain

again fill the measuring cup with (fresh) frozen iso over the same batch of buds, this time crunching them fairly well, and again drain

Remember, this can easily produce a dark, poor tasting product, the process MUST be done extremely fast, all 3 rinses in 15- 30 seconds.

then evap it, scrape it up and mix it together

then what you do is run it through a butane hash oil tube, (informations all over the net, just ask if you need it)

you then take your final product, which is basically super pure oil, and..............(this is the secret)

heat it to 140'F and whip it!!!!!! (I put a toothpick in a drill and use that to whip it good)

you want to whip it for 5-6 min, let it cool, heat, whip, cool, heat, whip, and FREEZE

so thats heat whip cool x3
then freeze

when done you should have something like this

 

I would get some high % alcohol and stick all the stems in it and seal the container well and let it sit there for like 1-2 monthes at least (the alcohol is going to turn green). Then when you drink a shot of it your going to get HAMMERED..


Look up green dragon. I think thats what its called.

 

I'm all about using my stems to make Green Dragon. I would not want to eat it or smoke it.

We recently ground up a big medicine bottle load of stems and got 1-2 good kief bowls out of it, but only because I couldn't convince my roommates we should buy some strong alcohol to make green dragon.
