A few UK noob questions...

So I've decided to start a grow, I've read a few books and got a decent enough idea to make a start. Got my grow tent, light, fans, carbon filter, chosen my seeds etc but I'm really struggling with nutrients and soil, I know about the NPK ratio's but I can't seem to get a good idea about what I need off the internet and don't want to go to a store without knowing exactly what I want.

Basically I've decided on big bud for flowering but have no idea what to use for veg growth or what soil to buy. If you can suggest UK brand names and the best place to buy them that would be great.

I was also wondering about the strength of big bud, should it be used at 30% of the stated amount or full amount (I assume its designed or cannabis given the name).

And finally I've read on here about flushing out the nutrients before harvesting, is that neccessary with big bud, how bad is the effect if I just leave it?

I went to a grow shop I found a few miles away and asked, they sorted me out with the nutrients for veg and flower stages.
