Excuse the so-so quality. My sister (who snapped the shot) failed to focus correctly, and I didn't notice until I transferred it to my 'puter. Oh well It's not entirely visible in this pic but my dreads are still pretty darn flat and loopy. And as can be seen I lack dreads completely on the upper part of the back of my head (in the middle, see?) which is kind of a bummer. Anyways I plan on revising my maintenance routine to include spraying salt water everyday and palmrolling as often as I can bother to. I will also put nuts (as in "nuts and bolts") to make them less flat. Finally I will remove most of the root beads and see what happens.
It seems to be a law of nature that sisters are unable to correctly use cameras. Also, nuts sounds like a very goot idea, I think I've got some M12's knocking about somewhere. It may be best to run a file round the inside because the threads can be quite sharp.
A fine idea. The single nut I have now is really old and a bit blunted so that one's probably not a problem, but when I get new ones I'll be sure to remember to smooth them out a bit.
crazyyyyy progress. how do you think you'll get the beads out if the lower part of the hair is much thicker? With a nut-cracker orso ghehe
lotta gutter punks do the nut thing why would ya remove beads? just klet em grow out and seperate em other then that theyre doin fine
Yeah my sister said she knew of other people who had nuts... me, I never heard of anyone prior to myself I removed the beads to see if it would worsen or improve the dreads. I'd say it's gotten a little better since I did. Though I haven't removed all of them. Steampunk yeah. Though I no longer dress the part. Blame shitty availability of good waistcoats and a lack of talent to sew ones of my own!
aww you should learn! i bet its quite easy to do once youve gotten the hang of it =] (try making napolenonic regency dresses.. theyre hard.)
