buying cigarettes underage

True that, true that... lol It just comes with those fun little things such as probation and CS when you're a teenager. xD

 

Yeah the guy must make a lot of money by doing it because thats were all the kids at my school who are underaged go to by smokes.

Even though it's highly illegal to sell single cigs.

 

I've been smoking since I was 13 and I never got on probation from it. The only person to ever catch me is my mom. And wtf is CS?

At my high school you could sell smokes for a buck a piece. People would actually get together and 4 or 5 people would pay enough for a whole pack just for one each.

Some stores sell single smokes, I think they call them loosies. But none around here do.

 

Sorry, someone used that term while talking to me so I decided to use it ha, it stands for Community Service, as a teenager you ussually do dumb things and make dumb mistakes which lead to being caught easyyyy. I smoked for 1-2 years straight and only got caught ONCE, that's all it took.

 

i wish i could quit. its not that simple. i am insanely addicted. i can't even imagine my life without cigarettes. i think i would go insane. they offer a level of comfort that not many other things offer me, besides my art. i think i will eventually quit, but not until i feel up to it. which i don't right now.

There's a gas station just outside of my college's campus. They've been around for decades and for as long as people can remember they've sold singles. But 75 cents a piece?!?! I'm in North Carolina (pretty close to Winston-Salem) so I probably get the cheapest cigarettes in the country but that is absurd. A pack of Camels is $3.45 and Marlboro's are $3.95. They will sell singles of almost any smoke for 25 cents which is still a ripoff because that is five bucks a pack.

Singles are really the only thing the have stopped me from completely quitting. I never want to buy a whole pack anymore but sometimes after dinner I will stop buy the gas station and get a single or two.

When it comes to buying something underage, you will fail every time if you look younger unless you know the employee. Your best bet is to find a small store with only one employee, preferably a guy in his twenty's. I've noticed most women will card and most people that over 30 are probably the manager or owner and will card also.

Well since I turned 18 I have gone to a tobacco/beer store and was ided and a cigar shop where I was ided. I bet once I run out of my mass of tobacco I'll see if my area gas station will id me, I doubt it.

 

I need to get a pack of smokes, but I dont wanna walk all the way to the bar to get them, then have to walk all the way back.

 

Just do it. I had to ride my bike all day in the rain to go to my p.o. meeting and to my moms work, then to the tattoo place but they were closed, then to my friends house to pick up my beer, then home 2 and a half hours later. Its kind of fun for me, if I was out of smokes I'd go.

When I was underage, they did not care. That was over 20 years ago. I used to buy chewing tobacco and cigs and cigars all the time, but if I wanted a Playboy I got carded.

Cigs are for the weak of mind. A nasty habit based on routine and to ease anxiety, find something better to do! If you have access to weed, it it ridiculous to smoke tobacco!

Ever since I gave up smoking cigs back in september, whenever I see someone lightup I can't help but think "yuck, what a fool"... I feel above it now

 

Pfft, 1 day you're going to be drunk or whatever and think out of nowhere when you see someone smoking "..........god damn, I really want a cigarette" you never escape them

 

They say after 3 months you made it. Pretty much true more or less. I can't stand the taste anymore, even if I wanted to. I'll seriously gag
