Every single time I take ecstasy I get really really bad heartburn lasting through out the roll and well into the next day and sometimes longer. I will seriously go through so many tums trying to keep the acid down because it gets pretty bad and shoots all the way into the back of my throat just tearing me up. Also towards the end of a roll I will usually begin to start to burp up foam. Sometimes it feels like I have a burp stuck in my throat or something and will end up puking up this weird foamy stuff.

Is this a common occurrence? Is there any other way to try and prevent this?

Nope and I have acid reflux, or did, maybe you have something in your tummy from the night before that shouldn't be there while you are on?

First, take your ass to the doctor and tell him your symptoms. Just exchange the "e" for some legal pill. Then he should(if he doesnt ask for it directly as it is the only pill currently that will reverse the esophageal damage you have. Also if you didnt already know you have an ulcer that will require medical attention sooner than later)give you a script for Nexium.(tip-Nexium is totally different than Prilosec and others so dont be fooled). If you cant do that then try my home remedy:

Start by going to your local dollar store or Sam's Club and find the generic Prilosec(Omeprazole). Buy enough for 28 days not 14(2 boxes). Now, take 1 in the morn, and one before bed untill the first 14 day shot is gone. Wait one week and repeat. Now your acid should be under control and you can keep it that way by following the directions on the Prilosec box(1 a day, for 14 days). Then, when you know your gonna roll, lower your bodies entire PH by takin a few shots of Maloxx(not Pepto), about 15 mins before ingestion. After that it should be much easier but remember that no matter what you do, YOU WILL GET PROGRESSIVELY WORSE UNTILL YOU SEEK PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL HELP.

Defiantly a body chemistry problem, I would take coffster's advice and see your doctor and get some Heartburn prescription for that shit.

Yeah when I first started doing e (first 1 or 2 pills) I'd get THE WORST heartburn/acid reflux (in the throat). Now that I don't get those symptoms anymore...

It may have been from drinking alcohol and rolling at the same time, but I'm not sure.

sorry man, started a lot of my friends on the rolly polly's and no one even me has ever complained of that extreme of a stomach acid problem. I thought prilosec was RX? but it's been awhile so it might not be. I would try whats his faces prilosec regime for a month or 2, and if that doesn't help get your ass to a specialist or something, because acid is bad, it will wear away tissue everywhere right? (cept for maybe tummy) and having no throat would suck balls.

i feel you on that. i have the same problem. i didnt always have it tho. it started about a yr and a half after i started rolling. but months before that started i used to just get mad acid built up n stomach bile ;/ shit hurts. but yea the best cure i think is an over the counter heartburn med. the post fromcosster was pretty legit. most def hit up the doctor though, you never kno if sumthin cud really be wrong.

ps if u do go to the doctor, tell em straight up what its from, they cant say shit to anyone , you cant get in trouble

I agree that it's probably pH related and dietary as well; coffee, alcohol, sweets, things like that are no-nos in large amounts if you want to use drugs and stay healthy.

It could also be some crap in the pills too.

Just to clarify, you're only experiencing this when you roll, correct? This does not happen unless you take X, right? Although I haven't been fortunate enough to roll in a while (lost $140 on pipes), I did have some burning in my stomach many years ago. But, that was when I was taking very large amounts of pills on an empty stomach. Every time I dropped 5-10 pills in a night, it felt like a hole was burned straight through my stomach for days afterward.

Now, maybe there was some preexisting condition and the X made it worse. Or, perhaps it was just my body's response to the combination of many factors, one of them being the consumption many pills containing many chemicals. If you're really that concerned, stop rolling for a while and monitor your symptoms. Also, I've found that doctors tend to "diagnose at the door". Meaning, they make huge assumptions within the first few minutes based on what you tell them. If you tell them you experience this ONLY when taking a pill (whether an ecstasy pill or Vitamin-C), they'll instantly downgrade your problem and probably focus on the pill (stop taking pill, change meds, etc). If you really want to make him/her work for their money, over-exaggerate a bit. Tell them you have this VERY bad acid problem EVERY day. Before they can suggest it, tell them you've already changed your diet several times. You've stop taking pills. You've done everything! Regardless, this won't go away and you don't know what it could be. After that, the doctor will start "fishing", asking you BS questions... trying to pin the blame on one of them. Such as, "Are you under a lot of stress?" - if you answer yes, he'll blame it on the stress. Just answer "no" on everything fishing question.

Don't get me wrong, regardless of what HE thinks the problem is, he'll still prescribe medication to resolve it. But, if you really want him to do his homework, maybe run some tests, don't "give" him anything. It's not the doctors who find the real problems, it's the science behind it all - tests, lab results, body scans, etc. But in order to get tested, you have to make it through the "Doctor's Diagnostic Ego". Only when he doesn't have a logicial answer, he'll start turning towards science to help him figure it out.

Oh, and no matter what... do NOT act like you know what the problem is. Doctor's hate "self-diagnosing" patients more than anything. They'll instantly rule out anything you think is causing this because - they don't like patients acting like they're doctors.
