Is Ellen Degeneres funny?

Forgive me but we here in the UK have a different standard of funny and a completely different standard of talk show.

I catch reruns of Ellen first thing in the morning (6am)...so that might prejudice my thinking...but how long ago did dancing at any and every opportunity become funny? Mmmm nothing funny to say - DANCE.

I'm pretty sure her talk show is not funny. But you know, I've only seen it once...and I wasn't high. So what do I know? lol

 

I'm getting the distinct feeling it is aimed at the over 45s.

 

I've watched it a few times an' no in general I don't find it entertaining at all. But then again after I got outta jail I almost never watch tv anymore anyway, its almost all garbage.

 

Mmm perhaps not aimed at ex-cons either.

 

never seen her show, but in her commercials hyping up her show she tried really hard to be funny, but it was just not funny

the answer is yes, if you have no sense of humor. hence her widespread popularity in this country.

 

I found her old show - Ellen - quite funny and thought she was inately funny.
How wrong I was.
She looks uneasy like she needs a poo all the time.

So what do we have so far: crap...not funny...not entertaining at all...and one person that has gone to the trouble of hating the fucking dyke.

So far no ringing endorsements.
