Throughout the ages mankind has attempted to understand and grasp the unknown, trying to fit it into a managable and understandable format. This is of course where all of our modern religions and their beliefs come from. Perhaps if we were to peal away the religious dogma of all these beliefs and peice together the thoughts of all religions that actually match up we could begin to gain an actually common ground and understanding of the being or beings that we have tried so hard to describe throughout history. Here is the beginnings of a list of attributes The Divine is Loving Caring Firm Omnipotent Omniscient Natural Supernatural Feeling Filling Uniting Severing Creator Destroyer Death Life Infinite All of these are attributes that can be derived from religions around the world. I doubt that anyone would disagree that if there was a divine it would fit these words. But what else is there? What are the peices of the unknown that we don't have, or that we don't readily accept?
Jealous? Wrathful? Just? Compassionate? Unfathomable? Light? Probably the most extensive list is the 99 names of Allah found in the Qur'an.
Allah - the supernatural force that flies planes into towers. Looks like a pitch fork, devils tail and some torches to me!
Back to the shaving value of the value in the knowing of the self for the ethics that is rational from the enlightened conditions of the soul. Being oneself would be adequate to the love of God if... ...He wasn't that omniscent. Hey, that's why God was invented with the devil.
Nah. That was just a bunch of crazy mixed up fundamentalist dudes lookin' in the wrong places for virgin pussy. The Great Jihad is within. It's in the eye of the beholder. Nice calligraphy!
You can remove "death" from your list as the Divine is eternal and death is just an illusion of our material existence. The Divine is all that is. There is nothing else.
What good would it do to you if he proved to himself that death was an illusion, and you were unable to notice because you were still entrenched in illusion?
Actually, both you and I have had many bodies during our existence. Our bodies have died, but we have continued and will continue to exist unchanged when the bodies we occupy now die.
Hey, buddy, glad to have you back! I was beginning to think you'd jumped off a tall building. Or are you just an illusion?
Surely I'm an illusion. But thanks, I'm glad to be back. I recently made a transition to oklahoma, which I have noticed you are a freak about. I've yet to figure out why, though.
No, man. I'm a freak in oklahoma, not about it! And if you're really here, welcome to the Buckle of the Bible Belt! The reddest of the red states!
Lol naa I don't mind, man you cats have a fun reunion. I'm too fucked up to even think about gettin' this thing back on track.
