Amsterdam marijuana seeds sells knock off seeds they are not the seeds from the original breeders. So buyer beware!

possibly. They certainly don't claim any awards but the beans I got from them are excellent (as was shipping time but must admit they're pricey). I just posted this in response to those folks asking how to get good products to the US and my experience is still limited.

Indeed, indeed, always "let the buyer beware". Still waiting for the day when beans are marked "PRODUCT OF USA".

:cool:The reason I warn about that company is Ive had some experence with them years ago.Yes there seeds get delivered and no they dont say they won any awards and thats because the strains arent theres and there versions arent stabilized or as strong as the originals.
The only adivise I can give you is only buy from outlets that sell the seeds in the original breeder packages so that way your sure your getting quality. In the meantime best of luck with what you have if they geminate grow em.

Hey all I want are some good indica afghani seeds. Would you say their seeds are going to be bad quality?

In my personal experance with them I wouldnt say there poor quality for the amount they charge but you end up with more phenotypes than you would with the original breeders seeds and there not as good as the originals. We have grown out the originals side by side with theres and you can see and feel the differance in the finished product not to say they were junk they just werent the same.
Just because you have one male and one female of one strain and they produce seeds doesnt mean you have breed that strain like the original breeder has. The orig company pick there mother and father plants from a choice of many plants and those chosen plants are treasured and the quality of there offspring shows and on the flip side knock off companys dont take those mesures and the quality of there offspring shows. But thats not to say you cant get some decent plants from them its just a gamble.
Me personaly the gamble isnt worth the risk.
    I hope this helps.

While I won't disagree with cheeky, the products I received from Amsterdam Seeds are stable and potent. Caramelicious is especially fun.

This endorsement goes no further than that: Good beans to the US. All respect to Cheeky...Probably much more experience than I, so listen up.

My point is, let's open up the subject of good bean sources. Heck, I'd rather not buy them at all, especially from "overseas". Way back whenever, beans came from bags; the bags came from far-away places like Mexico and Jamaica, Hawaii and even Viet Nam (probably wherever the CIA/DEA was) . Some of the results were great; a few were better for making shoes; too many were just some place in between. but they were always free.

"But that was a long time ago...", the point is, the best way to end this silliness, the so-called Drug War, is grow it and to that end, I offer a couple of companies that deliver what they promise.

A lot more and probably better ones out there and that's worth talking about.

Very nicely put The reason I replied to the post was to share my experence not to start a fight or to say Im right your wrong Ive just been in this quite along time and have been taken advantage of by a few seed companies so when that Ive had dealings with came up I figuered I would share. Also this is probably worth mention Amsterdam seed is far from the worst Ive encountered so beware and do your homework before you order.

Maybe I shouldn't bring this up here but I'm sure the DEA is onto these companies. They'd only need to read this thread.

Sooooo, you order the seeds, the dea intercepts your mail (seeing who is getting the beans), waits 8 weeks and Wham! Busted!!!!

Seems pretty risky to me. Of course, this is a risky business anyway.
