Your an idiot. I didn't say i was going to the police. I could hardly waste my time over a waste of life like yourself. I was stating you were unaware of what a threat actually was and if a cop was to hear what you said, it would be considered one.

You are a complete and utter moron.

I think one of the reasons that their is so much animosity here is their are two completely different planes of thinking: one believes that animal life should be preserved whenever possible, the other sees it as a resource and should be harvested provided the local populations aren't endangered. Might I suggest ya'll agree to disagree, or would you prefer to remain angry?

I hope that is not her argument, i gave her the benifit of the doubt. Trying to justify letting animals overpopulate and destroy an ecosystem by comparing them to an inteligent organized society is on the level of metal retardation.

Jesus christ, GO TO SCHOOL. The reason for the overpopulation is because we have eliminated the major predators so they dont EAT US. The population used to be controlled by them, now it has to be done by us. Space has nothing to do with whether or not they overpopulate. And by the way, how about you look at a map of america and tell me how much of it is populated. If you go out side the cities it is all farms and woodlands, i dont know what world your living in but america has plenty of room.

If you want to discuss a topic, you should probably know what its about.

Wow, hate humans much? Not only do you come off as a self hating human, you fundumentally misunderstand the argument. We are talking about the health of the ecosystems these animals live in. It has nothing to do with them encroaching on human territory. If you want to be in the conversation you have to at least grasp the concept, but better luck next time!

yeah, um not really. A person that would let animals destroy themselves because of conditons we caused is part of the problem.

It was not the reason that the early settlers feared predators of eating us that we killed them off. It was the fear of them killing off are cattle and how much they could profit from there pelts in the fur trade.

Wildlife would thrive without us, our highways and fences kill more than natural predators would do on a daily basis. Disease happens more from human interaction than any other natural cause. Because of man we confine animals to smaller areas every year, there may be plenty of space in the U.S. not occupied by man, but there are fences and roadways dividing the herds of animals into more confined areas. thus limiting food and allowing disease to spread.

Not true, i belive that keeping a healthy ecosystem is what is important. The reason i belive that is because animals need that to survive. I know that there are 2 ways to keep an ecosystem in balance after top predators have been removed. You either reintroduce the predators, or you hunt. I am not a fan of having wild predators come into my neighborhood, and i think that shooting an animal is far more humane than letting it get eaten by a wild animal, so i support hunting. I do not see wild animals as a resource to be harvested, i am a ecologist and just look at what is best for all parties.

Your first paragraph is spot on, i refer more to the modern reasons, but yes you are correct, but i have to disagree with your second premise. Out of all the area in america, we actually densly populate a very very small percentage. And even if those things where not true, we cant provide for the people we have on the planet so what are we supposed to do? what is your solution? You site problems with encroachment but offer no answers. Right now hunting is the best answer we have.
