i understand it works on one's GABA-B receptor, increasing relaxation. And although i do not understand the pharmokinetics, it also can produce euphoria 'fun' (sometimes lucid) hallucinations, and lucid dreams.

what are the recreational effects at varying doses?

any experience would be great.

yes it will cause hallucinations quite lucid actually and some users say they are freaked out by them and sometimes you will blackout and not even remember any of it.

 

I really enjoyed zolpidem, one of my favorite pharms.

For best effects, make sure you take it on a completely empty stomach. Zolpidem's effects are dramatically influenced by how fast it enters the system. There have been times when I got no noticeable effects from one 10mg pill taken after a big meal, while the same pill on an empty stomach would usually hit me pretty hard.

For me, 10mg was decent dose for recreation, though I found 15mg to be my sweet spot. If you have a benzo tolerance, you may need more. 20mg was fun too... but it was usually IMPOSSIBLE for me to remember ANYTHING from the night before. More than 20mg would usually have me feeling sorta hung over the next day as well.

 

well, i just took a total of 30mg. feelin good, lots of little hallucinations. visual distortion, feeling like i am somewhere where i am absolutely not.
i cant describe anything now, but i am really enjoying this trip. very pensive, and very free.
i feel infinite. =]

I would be taking it for sleep, I have problems falling asleep unless I take a sleeping pill.

 

it was really interesting, and unfortunately seamed really short in duration.

nothing nearly as god as Acid or Mushrooms. not even close.

it was a different type of feeling all around. more closer to DXM and Aprazolam taken together both in a low dose. enjoyable, but not amazing.

 

yeah ambien is pretty good, great when mixed with weed or another benzo. I can say I like ambien.

 

A 'friend' of mine says she's had the best times on ambien after drinking for a few hours and doing some lines of coke. The three effects combined (as long as they weren't overdone) produced a fantastic effect.
She remembers very little from the time the ambien kicked in though, as the others said.
She says you have to fight the ambien, i.e. make yourself get up and do things even if you're tired/lazy - that's when she got the most intense effects.

 

every time i take zolpidem i just black out like a mother fucker then again every time ive taken it has been after a hard night of drinking. Also ive read many reports of people driving their cars in their sleep/blackout points and doing all sorts of crazy shit. i could have got some today but i opted for some temazepam. Over here when you get a script for zolpidem they give you a pack of 5 10mgs so its not worth it, id rather go for the benzos as i get a bit more mileage with them

 

Im a 6' 3" 270lb dude. Even I dont bother taking more than 10mg of Ambien, for my actual legit sleeping problem. Why? Well lets just say that more ambien, I guess could be fun, expecially since it seems to make alcohol so much tastier, but I do not kid you...you short term memory will be FUCKED Do it once, with too many, good luck remebering the last parts of the night. Do it habitually and it could really impact your short term....long term

 

i liked it. gave me fun hallucinations, make me slightly euphoric, and just really calm.

when i took it with 1.5mg xanax, it was so much better, in every way.

but personally i really enjoyed zolpidem @ doses from 10mg-30mg. for me anymore is a little intense and causes nausea.

12 mg was pretty cool, some trippy shit like the keys on my keyboard moving around and tripping places, euphoria, urge to talk.

ambien can be pretty damn crazy man, The first time I ever took it my mom gave it too me because for a week before I just wasn't falling asleep for more then an hour each night so she gave me one one night when I wasn't falling asleep and I went back upstairs 15 minutes later and was like mom, you got me trippin drunk. That's what it felt like to me, its like drunk... but not, its more like a "slidey" drunk, I felt like I slid everywhere and things seem out of place around you, quite fun. The second time I did it me and my friend each took 2 10mg pills and we were so off the walls fucked up at one point he broke down and started crying(i've never seen this dude cry) and telling me about his horrible past which I won't mention here, that he just re-experienced, and he was really trippin, but other then that I don't remember hardly anything else from that night, that shit likes to wipe your memory of the experience away, or it's still there, just all put together in one smudged frame in my mind.
edit: btw, after 20mg of it me and my friend also puked our guts up man, you get really dizzy and see double of everything to an extreme extent.

 

about a month ago i got 8 or 10 of the 12.5mg ambiens. i took 2 and lost the rest of the bottle lol. shits fun but it always messes with my logic and i usually end up confronting people with the brutal truth lol.

Ambien doesn't really make me sleepy. Also, people can't really tell that I'm fukt up when I take Ambien, even at 50mg. It almost seems to be PURELY recreational, in my experience. It didn't produce any drowsiness or even disorientation, for me. It always just produced a happy, mellow, relaxed, and social mood. It doesn't last long enough though. It feels like xanax, physically, but valium emotionally. Simply, it's like xanax, without the blackout, along with some trippy visuals. I'm hesitant in saying so, but I may even prefer it over xanax, which I thought was impossible. lol

I agree with a lot of what you just said too. Ambien is my favorite... I prefer it over benzos. Doesn't produce any drowsiness (makes it easier to fall asleep but I don't feel drowsy), is purely recreational... happy, mellow, relax, social etc. Everything you just said. You wouldn't know I'm intoxicated on ambien if you were around me.

Only thing, over 20mg and I can't remember a thing... but apparently I still act totally normal.

Ambien is strange stuff. I <3 ambien.
