swollen clit?

    Hi- first post here but i'm needing some advice urgently. My boyfriend and I had sex on Tuesday night, and about half-way thru I noticed my clit was swollen. I know it normally swells when aroused, but its never swollen like this, i'd say 5 times its normal size, and sore. Obviously this kinda killed my mood so I didnt get off. And its still swollen, so much that its hard to sit with my legs closed, hard to walk, its just painful.
    I know its not an STD as my boyfriend and I were both virigins when we started having sex and we're in a monogamous relationship.
    Has this happened to anyone? I'm thinking I need to call a doctor if the swelling hasnt gone down by tonight.

    well, we had sex Tuesday night.. a few days ago would be monday and it wasnt swollen then...

    Go to the doctor. It could be a infection or something from a microscopic wound.

    Yeah, i agree, go to the doctor. You can find a female one if you're shy about discussing it. I would be! but you should go. You'll be glad you did.

    Had this happen before, and we went to the doctor, turned out we were just getting a little to wild, the doctor just said for us to be a little more gentle ;)

    regardless its worth getting it checked out.

    went to the doc friday. she said she thinks it might be a lube reaction but i'm still swollen. almost to the point that i think i might have a cyst on my clit.. its been almost a week now. i woulda thought it wouldve gone down by now...
    i'm gonna go get a 2nd opinion

    okay. i had the Exact same thing.
    It will last days, its normal. You must of gone really really rough. It was my labia that was swollen.
    If it starts getting itchy... you might get a yeast infection :O

    nevertheless, get it checked out. you can never be so sure.. gl :)
