It's been six days, I've been eating plenty of fruit & veg, averaging 7 portions a day, eating wholegrain carbs. I think I'm eating enough protein - a couple of eggs or a soy substitute a day, plus nuts and seeds, houmous, and skimmed milk.. Also taking regular exercise, a multi-vitimin & plenty of water.

But today I was moody, easily stressed, and in a bad mood pretty much all day, for no apparent reason.

Is this because my body is adjusting to not eating meat? Does this happen to everyone when they switch from a meat eating diet to a vegetarian one?

If so, is there anything I can eat, drink, or do to prevent future moodiness?
I'd be grateful for suggestions, thanks. :)

    Hey

Your symptoms are from your body dispelling nasty junk that has built up over the years. It is working hard now to get rid of chemicals that damage it, it happened to me when I did a switch of appetite. It is for the better.

I do suggest doing a master cleanse, look it up on google.

This will really jumpstart your system and the mood swings wont last any longer than a day. You will feel tired most likely and with little hunger after about the third day, depending on your past diet. The benefits are awesome, better digestion, better energy, better taste buds(your body STOPS craving unhealthy food). I would also stop eating wheat, even if it is whole grain. Wheat is not healthy, ironically if you do a master cleanse your body stops craving it too...two months almost without bread and cheese, forget meat and I feel better than ever...AND AND I DONT CRAVE IT HAHA. MAstercleanse and raw food diet all the way.
