I want to hear everyones crazy camping stories. The last time I went camping was about 5 years ago. I went to Ocala National Forest with three other friends of mine, we didn't know until after we got there that it was hunting season, but we camped anyways and all night we kept hearing gunshots. Lol
It's hardly a crazy story but when i was support worker looking after mentally ill people we went camping in the lake district (uk). It was late autumn and cold and one of our guys was hell bent on going swimming (... he had a swimming fetish). So we went to this lake one day and stood about while he went for a swim (he was pretending to be a crocodile lol), then we noticed a sighn which said 'Don't swim in the lake, there's some bacteria in it which could give you a nasty skin rash'. Anyway we didn't tell him cause' he would've freaked out ... we just got back to the camp site as quick as possible and told him to take a long hot, soapy shower. He was fine, hehe
