I have a theory that everyone is born knowing the words to some songs... three of them I can think of are Hotel California by the Eagles, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and What I Got by Sublime... Are there others and do you agree? Maybe its country specific (for instance i just discovered that hardly anyone in Australia knows who Sublime are)
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this forum is now dumber for having read to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
there is something to what you say, i am not sure what, but something. When I write poems, the best ones just come out in 5 minutes, and I have heard MacCartney, and Billy Joel say the same about their favorite songs. It is like they dont write them, they just convey something through them and they are the channel. That is what i think about my poems anyway. I think that much of our music is inside a collective consciousness, and certain songs really hit certain people. Solsbury Hill, and Fool On The Hill, both freaked me out first time I heard them, and still I dont know what the bond to me is. who are you, by the who, also hit me hard, very hard, for some unknown reason.
"I have a theory that everyone is born knowing the words to some songs..." well i wasnt born to knowing songs, but the music i grew up listening to is frickin engraved into my mind. i don't mean recently, like when i was little and hearing all the music that was played in my house. usually ozzy, led zeppelin, pink floyd, elvis(lots and lots of elvis )...i know a lot of their songs by heart having heard them so much when i was young and i still love them. and btw, juggalo your awesome ^-^
Dumbass, you can't slap someone through the computer. See how stupid those Adam Sandler movies made you?
I know lyrics. I sing along. I didn't when I was newborn. Odd. I advise you to adjust your theory, or maybe have a kid and teach it to sing Sublime before his first tooth comes up.
I have a theory as well...once you learn some song lyrics, you never forget them, gjust not rember them, but when you hear the song again you can sing along and never miss a beat...
I actually knew the song "What I Got" long before I ever heard of Sublime. Since I was seven, actually I knew some parts of the song, and I was always like, "Hey! That's that song I love" when it was on the radio. Only when I was about 14 did I discover Sublime, and that was from the VH1 Behind the Music thing on them.
