one of the funnest things about being a parent is complaining about your kids' antics. because really what you're doing is bragging about their spirit without bein guppity about it. lol. some of the stuff kids get up to is HILARIOUS. today joey was shouting along with black flag. remember that tv party tonight song? ALRIGHT!
yeah, see on some level I always respect her high spiritedness, even when I have a hard time with it from the parent perspective. like, at times she's oppositional defiant.. and I used to scratch my head and wonder where she got that from, until it dawned on me that Ron & I are both the same way! lol! recently she's gotten way better about that... maybe it was just a phase. and she has a great sense of humor.. very witty. we laugh alot at home. haha! I thought at first you meant that roach spray commercial.
my son is just 6months. I am soo loving this age, I want him to stay a baby forever! I'll prob be saying the same type of thing at every age though, except maybe the teens
Awww...I get sentimental at all of my kids' birthdays now. When they were younger, I was anxious for each year to come, couldn't wait for the next number and the progress of emotional/physical growth that went with it, now I wish time would slow down and I could keep them where they are a little longer. It seems like one birthday comes after another, the next more quickly than the last. After the party is done, and the kids are all in bed for the night, I'll usually be found shedding a few tears. Bittersweet though they are. My oldest son turned 9 this past December. I'm still trying to grasp this concept! And with him, he looks even older than 9 because he's so tall...and I think, geez, where did my sweet little boy go? The twins will be 6 at the end of May. I can hardly believe it.
