Is this normal?

    Yes, this is a normal experience. Everybody has some complicated and painful relationships, and it sounds like you got yourself into one.

    Not to dismiss your feelings, but time will only surely make it better.

    Also, you say women aren't disposable, but then you talk about this girl using very disrespectful terms. Even in all your hurt, try to remember the good that you saw in her, but remember that it wasn't meant to be. You didn't fall in love with a "slut" or a "mooch" so why did she turn into that when things went sour?

    I had some harsh feelings towards a couple girls I was involved with but now look at us as mutually getting what we needed from eachother

    It hurts so bad because you still care for her deeply. You will find some one more deserving of your love - give yourself time… Try to remember what good times you had together, and don’t let your pain make you a bitter person. Feel sad, feel what you need to feel… but try to be the bigger person. Calling her ‘slut’ and ‘mooch’ just re-enforce the bitterness.
