i told myself i'd stay away from acid cause it was a chemical. Besides the boomers have always done the trick well there was no fungus amungus... she fell into my lap, and so many other laps in that perticular room. why not right time right place. I've Loved lucy for 3 years now. Thank you Albert Hoffman. Love the forum, been reading for quite some time. I'd like to go back to vegas with some stronger doses. I'm looking to plan a vaca this summer, and take a vile. Where should i go/do. I will have 6-8 weeks. I'm hoping the forum can add to my list of NEVER SAY NEVER ideas. thanks PEACE
hit up some festivals! like in june go to wakarusa and then bonnarroo right after! now that would be something to remember.
I fucking love posts like this! I'm going to make suggestions as if budget weren't an issue. Will your time coincide with Burning Man? I think this will be my first year... Of course that's kind of the precedent of psychedelic adventures, the nucleus of the community. Santa Fe is an amazing, beautiful place. Extremely conscious and psychedelic. Tons of art. Tons of beautiful souls. Enchanted places. Indian reservations full of really cool dogs . Hot spots. More galleries than anyone could possibly visit, and great food. I'm trying to plan a trip to Palenque in Mexico to see the Mayan ruins. It's a short trip from California, I don't know where you are... you mentioned Vegas, so I'll assume you're in this general area of the planet. If you've read the celestine prophecies, know anything about terence mckenna, or know anything about 2012 you'll get why it's so intriguing. And on the way, Tijuana is a pretty trippy place... if you liked Vegas you should be able to handle it, but it's definitely very... Fear and Loathing, Circus Circus. If you can get over to the other side of the Americas and check out places like Venezuela or Peru, do, but do lots of research first since it can be dangerous. Rainbow Gatherings are really amazing and there's a good chance there are a few coming up within driving distance of wherever you are. Going to just one of those will lead to tons of other events and groups to hang out with. I definitely agree with the festival suggestion. There are lots of good ones coming up. The music scene is finally getting pretty fucking amazing again. In the same vein, there are always raves. The rave scene is definitely alive, though there's more garbage to weed through to get away from the assholes. If you see it as a venue for a legitimate artform (the music) and not just a place to take drugs in a friendly environment (which is legit in it's own right, but just not as common anymore), you're less likely to be disappointed. And I'll mention Alaska since it's my home state and people don't often think of it... in the summer, it is fucking heartbreakingly gorgeous. It's a great place to go to get lost... to buy a return ticket, take a backpack, and a cell phone that you know won't poop out on you, and just go, or rent a car (or motorcycle) and just drive. The sun never sets. There are places like Hatcher's Pass, Girdwood, Denali National Park, and the road from Anchorage to Fairbanks, that seem like something that's been ripped from a dream. If you bring the right books, you can basically live off the land (read/watch into the wild first, and don't be a moron). Canada is way cool. Tons of beautiful natural environment, and the culture is eye opening... they're so close to American culture, but so completely different. It's too big to list anything really specific, but worth getting to know. And of course, San Francisco. I don't know if you've ever been there, but I can honestly say that visiting SF may have saved my life. It's a completely solid, physical manifestation of all the intangent magical qualities of a psychedelic trip, and a psychedelic mindset, that you just don't find that often in "the real world"... concentrated into something so undeniable, thriving, and full of indestructable life & light. After visiting SF, you can look any doubter in the eye and tell them to kiss your ass, because anything is possible. I could suggest more places, but I'd be talking out my ass... these are the places & experiences that have truly blown me away. Hopefully there's something helpful here .
