So about...4 weeks ago, my hair that was about...17-21 inches long I guess, got cut. Now i'm at about, chin level. Prior to being cut I had backcombed a full head of locks, that were about 2 weeks along and were lookin pretty good, did not use wax or anything of the sort. Just fingers and a comb.
So after we combed them out for a long ass time, they finally cut it and I hated my hair. So I decided a week after having short hair to go natural..
I'm about 3 weeks along and it's a really good experience not caring about how your hair looks, and watching it change and grow.
I've got several dreads forming and knottage all around the place on bottom layers and some on top layers. But I have a few questions..
I wash every 4 or 5 days with dr.bronners, is there any way I can like..do something to my hair to make it less greasy faster other than just letting it build up its own tolerance to it? And how many times a week can I use a sea salt spray on my hair?

    Thanks.

sea salt as much as ya want as long as its not to iritating or building up
use thyme to adjust oil priduction or alternate the deeop cleanse with bronners (baking soda)

I'de love to join, but unfortunately I deleted my myspace about a week ago.
I agree, Natural is the way to go, but I think all methods have their ups and downs and all look great. But to each their own. :]

As far as I know, there's not much you can do until your scalp adjusts to less frequent washing. I think patience is your friend and your scalp will adjust in no time. As for sea salt, don't over do it as you can end up with damage to your scalp from it being overly dry. I would say once every week or two is plenty. Good luck!
