Living on the road as a vegetarian?

Can it be done? can beggers be choosers. Im planning on spending some time wandering depending only on the kindness of others and my own ingenuity. Anyone have any experience with this?

 

I think, if your down with dumpsterdiving and shoplifting, that this can be done.

But if you just want to go off of peoples charity and free food, Id say your probably gonna end up eating meat.

 

I know several vegans who have successfully thru hiked the Appalachian Trail and other long trails. If you can eat vegan in the hills of North Georgia you can eat anywhere.
