has anyone ever done this before? I read that its an alternative to making cannabutter. Citric acid in this case being lemon juice. it was actually from a lemon tea recipe but i dont want to add it to tea... well I made a little and im just curious if its gonna work, since I dont wanna do it till tomorrow.
well, as far as i can tell you no. No more smell then when the stuff is out in the open. I put mine in a little baby bottle pop plastic jar type thing so i couldnt smell it at all, and I left it there over night. When i strained the green out it just smelled like lemon juice, almost no weed smell at all (but the juice does get alittle darker). But, i read about this on grasscity forums, then i went back to try to get some info on it and couldnt find the thread anywhere. In the thread guide, the guy actually used plant trimmings and he used alot more then I did but he was making like a whole pitcher. He had like purple trimmings so his lemon juice came out like pinkish. Im saving mine for tomorrow but ive tasted it and it basically tastes like lemon. mine kind of tastes like old lemon cause it wasnt kept in the refridgerator but its not bad. I used a little metal mesh strainer, and there are some very small particles of bud left over. Not enough to bother me though... But as i said supposedly this is just a good a method of transfering thc to something edible. (and widley UNKNOWN i guess)

not to sound like a junkie or anything butttt, if weed absorbs in citric acid, would you be able to inject it and get any effects? they use citric acid in europe to break down their heroin because it somes in base form, so i know citric acid is ok to inject.
well.... i have no idea. lol. im guessing maby if its just pure citric acid, because lemon juice is more then that (i think???) i wouldnt have had any idea that citric acid is ok to inject so... you probably can make a more accurate guess then me. id rather make some THC acetate
that would be sweet if you could make THC acetate. im gonna drink my lemon juice later to day probably.
meh. didnt do shit for me. I think its cause i only used about 1g though.. idrk. maby ill try another time, but probably not.
yeh I think thc acetate require more chemistry that i have in my mental toolbox, I dont know if its true or not but I read that when you get high on the acetate it makes it far more psychedelic in nature and people allegedly compared it to mescaline, I guess it could make sense, when you eat pot it metabolizes to a higher delta, instead of delta 9, its like 11 or 12 or some ish. just my .02
