in trouble (again) and i need help

stop focusing on the incorrect date thing.

 

I'm so happy I'm going to be living in an apartment instead of a dorm.

Tell em you were passed out. Friends were hanging out playing aorund, w/e. They can use the cop so they know he talked to you as a witness. Just be like i fell asleep to usic, didn't hear the door. Friends woke me up and I answered the door a lil bit after. The smell of marijuana is a good evidence to get out of. Just be like that smell could have come from anyone's room not just mine. I wasn't in the possession of mairjuana and I don't smoke it either, but I'll keep an eye out for people that are smoking it in the residence hall. And your good, least they can do is put you on some type of probation, but you won't get kicked out. you can easily get out of this. The cop didn't find anything and didn't arrest you for anything so you must have not been doing anything wrong or illegal. case solved.

 

D00d, you do realize that when that cop opened the door, he most likely was whacked in the face by the very odor for which he was searching, right? Odds are, it's going to be his word vs yours. Also, I read in your other post that everyone present received the same letter, meaning someone watched them enter or watched them leave, the latter being more probable.

Not to bum you out, but you need to be prepared. You aren't dealing with someone saying they smelled it somewhere around your place, but with a trained officer saying he detected the presence of marijuana when he opened your door. And be careful of being blindsided by the testimonies of your friends. Are they all saying they were playing cards at your place, as well?

 

we all decided on a story. we weren't smoking pot, we were just sitting around eating pizza, we didn't open the door because kids are always fucking around, smell could've been from anywhere. there are no rules against the smell of marijuana.
