mmm mango i get so messy eating them. i get them and bring them to camp with me during the summer and all the islanders there get a bit jealous - i know i know, its not as good when its fresh, but its still pretty damn good - and when i eat one i get it all over my face haha
No, this can't be so! I refuse to believe this!! Lalalalalalala *hands over ears* Who doesn't love mangoes and sushi?? There is something terribly wrong here... we must delve deeper & investigate. :toetap05: at present my sexy mood has been altered, after hearing the above information.
My grandparents had a Mango tree in their backyard There so many different types on mango in DR. I had a friend that would grow them and import them from Haiti and I dont know what other places. He would sell them to restaurants and export them. He would always bring me a bunch of mangoes and avocado. It made my belly happy
I really want to go. Thailand is definitley on my list. I am a little scared though, I must admit. I watch way too much Locked up Abroad.
I am so going to world market this weekend to pick up some sticky rice. My husband doersn't like thai food, so I never make it. But, it's my absolutely favorite food.
One of my close friends is gonna work in the filming of that show. They'll recreate Cuba, Baltimore and Philly in DR.
That's awesome! That show is so scary though. Expecially the Bali one. I took Bali off my list because of it. Why did you move here? Were you sick of awesome fruit and beaches?
Mango is yummy! Not too sure I'd want an unripened one though! You know, I've always avoided giving my kids any mango because my MIL claims that there is a pretty bad allergy to them on her side of the family. So being the paranoid person that I am, mango has never touched their lips.
I always wanted to live somewhere else, just for the sake of being somewhere else and I have a love/hate relationship with DR, like I do with every other place I've lived at I'll never get tired of awesome fruit and beaches, but DR is so much more than that. There's a lot I miss about being there and a lot that Im glad I dont need to deal with it anymore. When I was there recently, the only day that I really enjoyed myself was the day I went to the beach, because everything was peaceful and sunny and perfect. The rest of the days I was annoyed by the people and how loud everything is and the chaos everywhere. Edit: I also enjoyed walking a lot under the sun
Mango , cashew , and posion ivy have the same allergen and the same reactions-mango less than the others and on the peal mainly from the tree sap.. dude if mangos bothered you you could have been hospitalized for cashews or posion ivy reactions( I only know that becasue a few months back I thought the kid was having a reaction to cashews- thank goodness she wasn't). I love mangoes.Probably the kids favorite foood. I am jealous of your tree
