It's funny to me that the more mainstream American jews are, the more they care about Israel...because the U.S. is in love with Israel (and no wonder, it's our little military playground). Real jews tend to realize Israel never did anything good for a jew in its entire existence - unless you consider the burning of Yiddish books from libraries and officializing a dead language sound political policy.
