haha i fall down the stairs regularly... either when drunk or when i wake up in the morning and am tired. i'm a clumsy person in general.
I think the worst part of falling down the steps like that is when you're desperately trying to stop yourself and can't! Sometimes I think we need to put a runner on our steps. I wonder if that would help any. Then again, we had some falling incidents even when the stairs had carpeting.
Im naturally super clumsy. It might be a little more now that Im pregnant, but probably not, it's already a lot on its own
I dont think I got it from anyone. I just have a hard time focusing on what Im doing. Im always in la la land
You know what I was just thinking though? This experience provided me with a valuable lesson. I always envisioned myself in at least a two story home. Any house I've been checking out HAD to be at least a two story because for some reason, I loved the look. Maybe it has to do with the fact that my childhood home was a two story? Anyway I have now changed my mind. Considering that we're looking to move, the next house we buy is absolutely not going to be a two-story. The heck with that. I'm thinking, I've seen my kids fall down those steps, myself...and let's face it, I'm not getting any younger. Imagine the damage a fall like that could do to someone up in their years. Nah. I've learned my lesson. Damn, I'm hurting like a b****!
Awww you poor thing. Years ago my feet slipped out from under me while I was going down the carpeted stairs and I plopped down hard on my butt... think I cracked my tail bone cause now it always hurts when I sit too long on hard surfaces. Yeah, that kinda sucks. I can be very clumsy sometimes. My bedroom has a very sloped ceiling and I always hit my head when in that part of the room. Usually more than once in the course of a few minutes.
